Our wonderful team at Attadale have been together for a few years now and absolutely love getting to know our clientele and their furry children! Here's a little bit about us...
I have always been an animal lover since I was a kid. Ever since I had my first dog and went to the vet for the first time I was determined to become a vet. After graduating from Murdoch University, I have joined the big family of Vet Co-op and become a member of the Attadale Vet (previously in High Street Vet). I have particular interest in small animal surgery and behaviour; and recently undertaken further education in small animal behaviour. I have owned many different species of animals in my life. Currently I have 2 cats - Benji and Peter to spend time with at home.
I graduated from Vet Nursing in December 2011 along with a certificate 3 in Animal Behaviour from 2010. I have a beautiful Bull Mastiff x called Chloe who has the sweetest soul you will ever meet and a Ragdoll mix called Harley who is unique in the fact he has no tail, but that doesn't stop him from being cheeky and feisty! I am always looking to add new members to my animal family! Just recently I adopted little Mila who has the loudest purr and loves to run and explore, and also Simba who is the cuddliest kitten around!
In my spare time I enjoy going down south as much as possible, travelling overseas and catching up with friends and family. I promise to always take care of your pet whenever they come into the clinic as if they were my own.
I have been 100% sure since I was young that I was going to one day work with animals. I grew up with many animals including 3 dogs, a German Shepherd, an Alaskan Malamute and a Labrador, 2 talking Pink and Grey Galahs, 2 Lorikeets, and a white and ginger Cat. It took me a few years and moving across the country and many other non animal related qualifications to finally get myself back on track and start doing what I love - caring for animals.
I got my vet nursing qualification in 2014 and started working for Vet Co-op at High Street Vet in May 2015; which is now merged with Attadale Vet. I have learned so much since I started working here and I have loved every minute of it.
I now share my home with 2 Kelpie x Red Heelers, Angus and Clyde, who keep me very busy as they are balls of energy 24/7.
